Program

Norwegians traditionally invite family and friends for breakfast on Norway's Constitution Day, the 17th of May. Here, we serve typical Norwegian food like cured meat and smoked salmon.

The Committee for Social and Cultural Activities would like to offer UiO's community of international employees and their families the opportunity to experience this cherished tradition. We therefore invite you to breakfast with us in Stallen, Central Campus in downtown Oslo.

Following the breakfast, you may watch the colorful children's parade marching up Karl Johan's Street to greet the Royal Family at the Royal Palace.

As of 11 a.m. we open the University Gardens to all UiO faculty and staff, including their families for the traditional get-together on the 17th of May.
