Travel and networking for junior researchers

There are several grants and scholarships available for junior researchers who want to go abroad. Below is a small selection.

UNIFOR

UNIFOR manages NOK 2.3 billion for more than 200 charitable foundations, primarily within research and higher education.

Peder Sather Grant Program

Funds many different kinds of projects, including PhD candidate exchange between Norway and Berkeley.

Funds mobility to/from Japan for young researchers.

COST Actions Networking

The European COST organisation funds networks with specific purposes and themes, called Actions. You may apply to create or join an Action, which will then fund your travels to/from network meetings.
