Annual research money
A fixed sum is awarded to all permanent academic employees and postdocs/doctoral research fellows financed by the basic award at the Department.
How to use your annual research money
Please contact Head of Office Birgitte Bøgh-Olsen for your Activity Code ("tiltaksnummer").
Rates 2018:
- 15 000 NOK for permanent academic employees
- 10 000 NOK for postdocs and doctoral research fellows
- Emeriti can apply for up to 5 000 in research related activities. You can not apply for funding for the purchase of computer equipment for the funds
- No research funding for visiting professors (professor II's) due to budget cuts.
Internal Research Funding 2018
We have allocated NOK 500 000 in research funding to be distributed in each section. Head of section will inform on how to apply for this money.
NOK 250 000 NOK is reserved for mobility grant if there is money for it in the 2018 budget. The money could be spent on organizing seminars or support for extended stays outside the Department.
There is no grant reserved for central research funding this year.
