A fixed sum is awarded to all permanent scientific employees, as well as postdoctoral fellows and research fellows at the Centre of Educational Measurement (CEMO). The funds can be used to cover expenses for research related activities like hiring of research assistants, literature, shorter travels, meetings, copy editing, conferences and other activities in connection with research. This is automatically distributed when you begin working at CEMO and then once a year, every January.
The fixed sum/annum cannot be transferred from one year to another. The only exception is for postdocs/doctoral research fellows (who are allowed to use a fixed total sum more freely during their employment period).
- 25.000 NOK for postdocs and doctoral research fellows
- 50.000 NOK for permanent academic employees (from 2024 this will be reduced to 40.000 NOK)
