  • Equipment Wishlist
    • Located on Handbook
      • Edit as you see fit! Reformat if it doesn't work as is
      • Add whatever you may want or need! Or just send Kayla an email with what you want on the wishlist
  • Group Activity
    • Walkthrough of how to use the Videomixer and BigKnob talkback system
      • Videomixer can now use ceiling microphones as input sound for higher quality over the internal camera microphones. Video can be recorded locally on the SD card in the video mixer which should remain there. Video is sent to MoCap computer for recording within QTM via HDMI cable. Reminder about PGM fader, set to around -10 as default but if turned all the way down there will be no sound. Demonstration of camera switching and audio selection. For more instructions, see handbook.
      • Discussion of default settings and reminder to RETURN SETTINGS TO DEFAULT IF YOU CHANGE THEM
      • Headphones attached to video mixer are fixed, do not remove these
      • Talkback system can play sound in control room and front speakers in lab using the BigKnob. Inputs from Audio computer, Mocap computer, and videomixer or line in. Built in microphone can be used to give instructions to participants. There are lots of knobs controlling what signals are used, volume, noise, etc so make sure you practice first. Full instructions see handbook.
      • Sometimes lab speakers or control room speakers are manually turned off or volume turned down (control room) reminder to check that first if you want to use the system.
      • Preamp is used for phantom power for ceiling microphones. Remember to turn this on if you want to use them.
    • Kayla to create updated laminated basic instructions for posting in lab
      • Also to make a PanicMode binder with images for troubleshooting on the fly
