Did you know that the faculty has an annual cycle overview of award announcements and opportunities to nominate faculty staff? You will find deadlines and the information you need.

The annual cycle for award announcements is a resource page where you can find information about relevant awards. All persons employed at the faculty have access to these pages.

Many relevant awards

The annual cycle provides an overview of the major awards that are relevant for employees at the faculty. Under each award overview, you will find more information about the awards, the deadline for submitting nominations and a link to the announcement.

Right now you will find information about the nominations for the Anders Jahre Awards, King Olav V’s Cancer Research Award 2024 and the university’s five awards.

How can the annual cycle be used?

In addition to new notices in the annual cycle, information about the announcements will always be provided via the line. The annual cycle also gives you the opportunity to follow along yourself. The aim of the annual cycle is to reduce the amount of e-mails sent from the faculty administration via departments/institutes and centres and out to the different communities.

We therefore recommend employees to use the subscription feature. By doing this, you will get information when there are new updates in the annual cycle. You can add the entire annual cycle to your calendar by clicking ‘subscribe’ at the bottom of the page.

If there are just a few awards relevant to you or your subject area, you can subscribe to the individual award by clicking on the link below each award announcement. The deadlines for the awards will show up in your Outlook calendar.
