Aleksandra Weder Sawicka, who works as management support for the Faculty Management at MED, has been awarded the Humanist Award for 2022.

The Jahre Awards from 2022 will go to researchers and research fields in basic cancer research, research on metabolic changes in cancer and diabetes, and treatment of cardiac arrest. The main award very deservedly goes to our professor Harald Stenmark.

In 2022, the Institute of Health and Society has received EU funding for many new research projects. Through her funding allocations, Professor Anne Moen is one of the researchers making an important contribution. Here she will share some of her experiences. 

Research adviser Veslemøy Ramsfjell followed up on researchers and coordinated the process that led to two new centres of excellence. The Dean of Research, Jens Petter Berg, chaired the panel of experts providing advice and feedback to applicants throughout the process.

Hanne Flinstad Harbo won the election for the position of dean at the Faculty of Medicine with 53% of the votes. She will be the faculty's first female dean.
