From where and what are you working on right now?

I am at my office at home on Ullerntoppen. The new workplace is shared with wife and daughter of 2 years – a bit crazy conditions! I am part of a task force at MN and UiO that is working to facilitate the rapid transition of teaching to digital channels. In addition, I work closely with administrative colleagues to find good solutions and clarifications regarding all the exams this spring.

Your best tip for succeeding in working from home?

Meet new digital tools with excitement! They are not perfect, but it is fantastic to see that we can get such good interaction from all offices and living rooms around Norway.

What has been most engaging in the past week?

It is great to see the UiO team spirit when these big changes were thrown upon us. It has shown that we are good at making quick changes on very short notice. People show great dedication to finding good, flexible solutions for our students and employees.

What are you looking forward to when all this is over?

Definitely looking forward to the gym opening again – home exercise is not quite the same...
