1. Information about the building process:
Tor: We have four million NOK allocated for building the labs over the next two year period. Eiendomsavdelingen have signaled that this cannot start before 2018, but we will try to negotiate to start this process this year.
Cleaning of the area in the basement of vest wing will be finished during February.
We have ordered electronic keys for all the lab rooms, the key will be the card you have for entering the building today.
The “lesesal” V01-07 and the old EKUP lab (S01-31 and S01-33) will be made into small test rooms. V01-08 will be a room for meetings. VU -10, VU -11 and VU- 12 will be the EKUP lab. V1U-10, V1U-14, V1U-15 and V1U-16 will be EEG labs, and V1U – 18 will be a washing room for participants and electrodes.
Tor will invite everybody to a meeting with the architect.
2. Research assistance
The Department has less money for this than we hoped for.
James Lubell is hired in a engineer position and allocates time between eytracking, EEG and on WM infrastructure.
Two assistants work 20 % until August on TSD and “Nettskjema” when they leave. We will have one new assistant in a 20 % position starting this month, and we will replace the two assistants who are leaving in August. One of them will continue to work with technical help related to sensitive data (TSD, Nettskjema) while the other will be allocated to the new lab area. We will decide on the use of this assistant later.
We will try to hire a 10% assistant to manage the social lab student database and one 20% position to the EEG labs.
A 250 000 NOK funding for upgrading the 12 therapy rooms will come from the eVir project. And one additional 20% position allocated to TSD and video analysis will be financed eVIr.
3. Meeting plan
We might not have regular meetings this spring, but instead have discussion by email and meetings when we need to make bigger decisions.
