Professor Lars Frers from the University of South-Eastern Norway will present his work on multi-sensory methods in social science and humanities.

Malin Ah-King is visiting the Science Studies Colloquium Series. Ah-King is an evolutionary biologist and gender researcher (Associate Professor in Gender Studies). Since she received her PhD in Zoology, Stockholm University, she has worked with interdisciplinary gender/biology research in different ways, by problematizing notions of biological sex as binary and stable, highlighting gender stereotypes and heteronormative conceptions in theory and research.

How and why do global health donors engage with faith-based organizations to implement projects? In this Global Health Unpacked seminar, Sibylle Herzig van Wees will analyze the modalities and implications of donor engagement of faith-based organization in the health sector in Cameroon.

Launching the Women, Peace and Security Index 2019/2020 - during Oslo Peace Days.

In this Global Health Unpacked seminar, Jody Harris will explore how and why certain international nutrition approaches have found their way into national nutrition policy and practice in Zambia.

This talk will focus on models for studying norm contestation in world society, and then illustrates the model's use with reference to three case studies including fundamental rights, torture prohibition and sexual violence prohibition. The central research question asks: If norms lie in the practice and all practices are normative, whose practices count in global society?
