SPARK Norway Educational Forum: Early phase production of medical devices

SPARK Norway Educational Forum are monthly open meetings organized by UiO:Life Science and SPARK Norway partners.

Medical device development and production requires a multidimensional approach. A novel medical device idea must withstand different requirements of quality, sturdiness, specific local regulations and safety.

How do you take this into account in your attempts to develop a new product? What are the crucial steps and what are the common pitfalls?

Two highly knowledgeable medical device professionals will share their thoughts on what it takes to create a successful medical device.

Rolf has more close to 25 years’ experience from product design and development. He has worked with a variety of different products including several medical devices.

Rolf holds a degree in product design from NTNU.

CTO and member of the board at Eupnea   

Magnus is an expert in sensing principles and physics with experience from strategy work and quality management. He is partly responsible for developing a technical solution at Eupnea and has experience from both industry and other start up companies. Magnus holds a MSc Electronics from NTNU, with specialization in nanoelectronics and photonics.
