UiO:Life Science is renewed for a new period
The University of Oslo's board has decided to continue the interdisciplinary initiative UiO:Life Science for a new five-year period.
A new call for convergence environments is expected
UiO:Life Science funds convergence environments - interdisciplinary research groups that work on major societal challenges within life science related to health, environment, and sustainability. A new application round will start in the autumn.
Summer students measure carbon uptake in dwarf shrubs
The summer students Maren Mansika and Marie Kristine Kvendseth Rimstad are among 50 students who have been awarded a scholarship by UiO:Life Science to conduct research on a research project. They will measure CO2 uptake on dwarf shrubs this summer.
Vacant position in convergence environment
The convergence environment AUTORHYTHM has an open position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the intersection of artificial intelligence and biology. The position will be associated with the Department of Biosciences.
