In February we organized our opening conference – the Oslo Life Science Conference.
This was a conference for all who are interested in research, education, innovation, business and politics in life sciences. We explored how we can create a leading Nordic Life Science hub for research, education, innovation and business in Oslo. We showed that UiO has all the different disciplines required to succeed with this. National and international speakers told what they think are required to succeed.

Parts of the conference were shown on national TV (NRK) in May.
At the conference the building contractor Statsbygg and the architects Ratio arkitekter as released a new video of the planned life sciences building at UiO.
