Which molecular mechanisms form the basis of the brain’s plasticity, which is important for recovery following brain tissue injury and for understanding dementia? In the thematic area of brain plasticity at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, they are attempting to find an answer using advanced technology. The work is coordinated by Professor Farrukh Chaudry (pictured second from right). In 2013 he received funding from the Norwegian Public Health Association via the TV fundraiser in 2013.
