How can we build a bridge between basic research on stem cells and the application of that research? Researchers are working on this at the Norwegian Center for Stem Cell Research. The centre is attached to the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and is a collaboration with Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. It is headed by Professor Joel Glover at UiO. In the picture, Graciela López Soop is studying microscopy images of stem cells. See the centre’s web page.
