How do I turn on Norwegian spell check in Edge?

This applies for other languages as well.
Select Settings from the menu in the top right corner, then Languages ​​(edge://settings/languages). First, you must add the preferred Norwegian target form. Select Add Languages:

How do I change the default search engine in Edge?

When you type in the address bar, Edge will automatically use the defined search engine to search for the word.

The default search engine can be changed by going to Settings  from the menu in the top right corner, then Privacy and services in the menu on the right side (edge: //settings/searchEngines):

At the bottom of the page, under Services - Address bar there are settings for search (edge://settings/search). Edge has predefined four search engines, choose the one you want and press Make default.

How do I import bookmarks and other data from other browsers??

If you want to import all data, simply select the browser and import.

If you want to choose what to import:

Select Settings - Favorites - Import (edge://settings/profiles/importBrowsingData)

Favorites - import

Then select Favorites or bookmarks:

Select "Favorites or bookmarks"

 

How do I get advanced printing options such as colors, stapling etc. in Edge?

Edge has a simplified print menu, to bring up the regular print menu, select More settings or press Ctrl+Shift+P.

Ephorte still runs in IE11, but now only as a new tab in Edge. If you look at the icon on the left, it is still the IE11 icon.

I get unwanted messages and popups at the bottom right of the screen

Many people think this is a virus, but it is the browser that can send messages to the computer. You will then see the name of the browser at the top of the dialog box, here Microsoft Edge.
