Longer run-times for jobs on Colossus

Dear TSD user,

the maximum wall-time-limit for the jobs running on Colossus has been now increased to 28 days. This will facilitate the execution of long  simulations/calculations. However we strongly advice you not to run jobs for more than 7 days, unless you have enable checkpointing (https://www.uio.no/english/services/it/research/hpc/abel/help/user-guide/job-scripts.html#Checkpointing). This is because none of the nodes on Colossus have dual power, and we reserve the right to shutdown any node for maintenance at any time, with 7 days notice.
