Use hospital ID cards as print cards
To use Ahus and OUS ID cards as print cards at UiO, you can follow this guide:
Register your card in the printing solution (Only in Norwegian)
Printing to pushprint printers (without ID card) - applies to Ahus
Press the Windows key once (to the left of the Alt key) to bring up the Start menu.
Type \\pushprint.uio.no\"name of printer" and press the enter key
The name is labeled the printer (e.g. ahus_admin1 or ahus_epigen1)
Print to pullprint printers (with ID card)
It is easy to print to UiO printers as soon as your access card is set up:
Select "File-> Print" in any application.
Under "Select printer, select" \\ pullprint \ ricoh ".
All laptops should have this setup. (If it should not be, see below.)
Press "Print".
Go to the printer, log in with your ID card and follow the instructions.
Set up a pullprint print queue on your machine
Press the Windows key once (to the left of the Alt key) to bring up the Start menu.
Type "\\pullprint.uio.no\ricoh" and press Enter.
Close the window that appears.
You can now print to the pullprint queue.
Toner cartridge
Ricoh printers are purchased with toner cartridge and service included. A new toner cartridge is automatically sent out when it starts to run low.
