Learning outcomes

Students will develop the linguistic, methodological and theoretical skills needed to identify, read, analyze, and discuss primary and secondary sources for the study of Chinese civilization, including sources in modern Chinese, classical Chinese and English. In addition to specialized competence within their field, they will also develop more broadly recognized skills, such as how to develop a project, search for and find relevant sources, analyse them, present their findings, and engage in dialogue with others about them.
