About the speaker

Olve Krange is sociologist and senior researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA). His research has focused on issues around land use conflicts in a socio-economic and socio-cultural perspective, and cultural change in rural areas in Norway. He has published on diverse themes ranging from wind power in Norway, the politics of environmental knowledge, power struggles related to climate change particularly as related with right wing populism, hunting, forestry, environmental justice, and large carnivore conflicts.
