Documentation Guidelines
- Upload documents preferably in PDF or JPG format at the online application system (Søknadsweb) within the application deadline.
- When uploading documents, you acknowledge that the University of Oslo may contact the issuing institution for verification.
- Submission of fraudulent documents is illegal, and will be reported to the proper authorities and may lead to dismissal and loss of right to study. Your are liable for uploading true and unaltered documents.
- If admitted, you must bring your original documents with you as you might be asked to present the documents to the University. Failure to submit documents on request will lead to dismissal.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Required education:
English proficiency + one of the three following qualifications meets the education requirements:
From 2019:
Svidotstvo pro zdobuttja povnoji zahalnoji serednoji osvity / Свідоцтвопроздобуттяповноїзагальноїсередньоїосвіти
Until 2018:
Atestat pro povnu zahalnu serednju osvitu / Aтестатпроповнузагальнусереднюосвіту
One of the following combinations also meets the education requirements:
Svidotstvo pro zdobuttja povnoji zahalnoji serednoji osvity (Свідоцтвопроздобуттяповноїзагальноїсередньоїосвіти) OR Atestat pro povnu zahalnu serednju osvitu (Aтестатпроповнузагальнусереднюосвіту) + EITHER
- Dyplom molodsjoho spetsialista (Дипломмолодшогоспеціаліста) OR
- Dyplom fakhovoho molodsjoho bakalavra (Дипломфаховогомолодшогобакалавра) OR
- Dyplom molodsjoho bakalavra (Дипломмолодшогобакалавр) OR
- 1 year university education

All applicants must upload scanned copies of their supporting documents into the application portal, please name your uploaded files as suggested in the tables below.

Your statement of purpose should be one page, typed, double spaced (max. 400 words). Tell us why the course is important to you, how it helps you fulfill future goals or how it relates to your current studies or employment. Important about documentation
- A random selection of students can be asked to present their original documents before starting their studies.
- You are responsible for uploading all required documentation, as well as ensuring that it is uploaded within the application deadline. As it may take several weeks for institutions and test centres to provide transcripts and/or test scores, please arrange for these documents to be issued as soon as possible.
- Please note that we maintain the right to contact institutions, firms, associations and government agencies for the purpose of explanation and/or verification of uploaded documents.
