The university buildings of Blindern date back to the early 1930s. Inspiration was found in the modernist movement of European architecture. For the next period of campus development, the 1960s, post-war USA served as a source of inspiration. However, Scandinavian design was also a key feature in what was then Norway's largest public building project.

Join art historian Bjørn V. Johansen, Museum of University History, for a tour of the Blindern campus including visits to selected buildings.

Registration in advance is required, due to limited number of spaces.
