About the event
Open research practices have gained a lot of traction in recent years and many funders have implemented policies that require open sharing of research outputs. Likewise, the Research Council of Norway has introduced open science evaluation criteria for its grants with deadline in 2023.
Grant proposals are now required to show how open science practices are implemented as an integral part of the proposed project to ensure reusability of the research outputs and enhance reproducibility.
This presentation will recap the most important aspects of Open Science and the Fair-principles and show how open practices can be a part of the whole research process – from formulating research questions to dissemination. Examples from the humanities and information about relevant support services at UiO will be introduced.
The presentation will be in English and last for about 30 minutes followed by a Q+A.
