Professor Zhang is a guest researcher at our Centre from 15 September to 14 October 2018. His research topic is about the UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies. This seminar will focus on the study of a position paper released by the Chinese government in 2016 about its concerns in the process of strengthening UN human rights treaty bodies. Relevant recommendations will also be made to the government of China for a more active role in 2020 treaty bodies review.
