Kun tre miljøer i kategorien Psykologi og psykiatri fikk den beste bedømmelsen.
Evalueringen ble gjennomført i 2011 og omfattet UoH-sektoren, inklusive helseforetak, og instituttsektoren.
Syv paneler bestående av fageksperter på sine felt har gjennomført evalueringen. Konklusjonene er samlet i en rapport fra hvert av panelene, samt en overordnet rapport som går på tvers av panelene.
Panel 6 har vurdert Psykologi og psykiatri, hvorav CSHC vurderes Excellent.
Generell vurdering
I sin generelle vurdering skriver panelet blant annet:
“This is a highly competent group, using state of the art techniques to address important issues while considering these matters from innovative points of view. This group uses structural and functional MRI, EEG, ERP, genetic testing and other up-to-date methods to address important questions in relation to dementia, ageing and cognition and emotion.
The direct questions they seek to address are innovative and important. They are also involved in the cognitive psychology of eye-witness testimony. Each staff member is part of several networks; thus, there is extensive research collaboration within the group. Individual members are also engaged in externally organized, national research projects or networks. Notable also is the relatively young age of the staff of this unit, ensuring the continuation of a fruitful line of research.”
Vitenskapelig kvalitet
Videre skriver panelet om forskningsresultatene:
“The group’s contributions overall to the general scientific literature are strong and in high quality journals.
The group has published 213 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 10 in Norwegian/national peer-reviewed journals, and 21 books and book chapters in the past 5 years.”
Til slutt oppfordrer panelet CSHC “keep up the good work”.
Fagmiljøene ved PSI
Det er vanskelig å gi en samlet vurdering av faggruppene ved PSI, men ingen fikk den dårligste karakteren. Det spriker mellom Fair og Excellent, der gjennomsnittet er Good.
