Under festivalen spilles to oppsetninger: Et dukkehjem og Kejser og galilæer.
Professorer og teaterpraktiserende fra Libanon, Tyrkia, Palestina og Egypt møtes for å diskutere Ibsen og hans relevans for dagens samfunn. Regissøren Kai Johnsen gir en workshop i dramaturgisk metode for samtidsteater.
Arrangørene ønsker å skape en samlende plattform for samarbeid mellom teater og akademia i Midtøsten og den arabiske regionen.
