Eksamensoppgave våren 2008, 3-dagers hjemmeeksamen:
Discuss the transition in Indian electoral politics from the single party dominance of the Congress in the decades following Independence to the emergence of political parties which successfully threatened Congress dominance in states. Use examples from the reading for the course.
The exam papers (two examples) are to be handed in on Thursday 5th of June together with an obligatory statment concerning cheating, during the opening hours of the reception desk, between 12.30 and 14.30. Notice, that only candidatnumber, not name, should be used for the exam.
The lecture that was cancelled 28th of April will be given Tuesday 6th of May 14.15-16.00, Grupperom 4, Georg Sverdrups hus.

Deadline for handing in the obligatory essay is the 14th of April
Deadline for submission of applications to three of the Nordic Centre in India programs (Contemporary India, Demography, and Approaching the Environment) is the 28th of March. Applications are submitted to Prof. Price.
