The qualifying test

All students must sit a 2-hours written school test, which must be approved in order for the essay to be assessed. The test will consist of a variety of ordinary multiple choice questions and simple questions where the students are to indicate important concepts from the compulsory reading material. The test’s main purpose is to assess the student’s breadth of knowledge, and it will therefore be divided in two parts; the first part covering the syllabus of Exphil I and the second part covering Exphil II. In order for the test to be approved, leading to assessment of the essay, the students must answer correctly a minimum number of questions, both in Exphil I and in Exphil II.
