Jon Inge Faldalen is still without the use of his right hand, so we have to postpone this week's lecture on television to 28 November. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear students, some of you still haven't joined a group for the film project. Your very last chance to get assistance by the teachers to find a group is to come to the seminar Thursday 30 October at 10.15, Dept. of Media and Communication, Oslo Science Park (Forskningsparken), room 4-230.

Treatments are due tomorrow, Friday 24 October. You can hand them in via Fronter.

Dear students, we have now found replacement teachers, and seminars and lectures will now be held according to schedule.

We have pushed all deadlines back, so the film production should run smoothly, just a little later in the semester than we thought. You can find the updated schedule on the information page.

The Monday seminars have met once, the Thursday seminars will be held for the first time 16 October, and all seminars should be in sync by next week.

I will create groups for those who were missing in the first seminar and post them online.

We are very sorry to say that due to illness the seminars next monday 13. October is cancelled.

You will get back to you early next week with a new course schedule for MEVIT1110.

We have not been able to find a replacement teacher this week, so Friday's lecture is also cancelled. There will be no teaching this week. Please use the time to read your books, as you will have little time later.

We are delayed with our productions, you can check the new production schedule. This will be thighter than we had planned, so spend your time wisely.

To really learn about Audiovisual aesthetics, you need to watch moviesand televisionand play computer games. If you aren't a gamer, you really need to start playing. We have published a list of games you should play. They aren't free, so form groups and borrow from each other.

Due to illness the seminar next Monday 6th October is cancelled.

We begin this year's Audiovisual aesthetics this Friday, and man, do we have a lot of students registered! This will be so fun!

To prepare for the lecture, read chapters 2 and 3 of Bordwell and Thompson's Film Art. (And if you have the time, why not read ch. 1 as well? It's interesting!)
