Lenken er til søkestreng i Bibsys med oversikt over alle oppgaver. Etter 2010 er DUO en mer autoritativ kilde (pga endringer i registreringsprosedyrer osv). -- Here is a short cut for all who want to see a list of all previous master thesises at IMK . Note that this list is complete until 2010. After 2010 DUO is a more complete source.

Obligatory assignments

Feedback on your reading list assignment is now available in Fronter. A few are missing a publication on their reading lists and are asked to send in a new list (see comment in Fronter). Send this directly by e-mail to Tanja. An approved assignment does not necessarily mean that everything is perfect. There are some general issues especially concerning references to online sources that we will discuss in class 9 October.

Feedback on your one page outlines will be given during group supervision 9 October. The outlines have been formally approved and this is reported in Fronter. This does not, necessarily mean that everything is ok with your idea - this will be discussed in the groups.

Groups for the first assignment were formed during lecture 21 August. All groups need to send an e-mail to Tanja (tanja.storsul@media.uio.no) and report who is in the group, which thesis the group reads, and who is the contact person.

Those not present 21 August can sen an e-mail to Tanja and she can set these students in contact with each other or established groups. Please include a preference to which thesis you are interested in (choose from this list ).

Your first portfolio assignment is a group assignment. The group needs to choose a master thesis and give a short description (2-3 pages) of the thesis including its research question, theory, methods, findings, and conclusion - and assess the thesis.

Forming of groups for this assignment takes place during the lecture 21 August. In order to make the selection of thesis easier - we have made a list of suggested theses from the last two years: see list of earlier master's theses.
