Thanks for a great start of the course today. Just a few points to follow up, so also those of you who were not present are up to date:

Information
The semester page is the place where you will find all information about the course. This is also where we will upload lecture material, put in new messages, etc. You should check this page regularly.

MOOC
Remember to sign up for Music Moves at Futurelearn. This online course will start on 4 September and be embedded into MUS2006 (check timetable). It is mandatory to follow the activities there every week, and you will need to post at least three comments per week. Since most of the lecturing and reading will happen in the MOOC, we will have more time to discuss and do things when we meet in class on Fridays.

Assignment 1
The goal of the first assignment is to get you started thinking and writing about music and movement:

1. Watch the video: Flash Mob - Ode an die Freude
2. Write 1 A4-page about your impressions of the video. What do you see? What do you hear?
3. Submit a PDF of your document in Fronter. Deadline: 1 September 09:00
4. Prepare to talk about the video in class
