To students who have taken the HUMR4501/1501 exam on December 7, 2005

Unfortunately, the exam results will be posted on January 13 instead of January 5, as originally scheduled. Reason: delays due to the postal service regarding delivery of students set of answers to the examiner.

Rescheduling

The lecture of today, September 20, was cancelled due to illness. Prof.Nils Butenschøn will postpone the lectures as mentioned below:

TABLE OF CONTENTS FOR COURSE COMPENDIUM The main compendium for the course should be available at Akademika before the next lecture. The table of contents has been published (see opposite page).

SECOND COMPENDIUM TO BE PRODUCED - A THIRD IS CONSIDERED Unfortunately, Akademika are not yet able to supply students with three of the main books for the course: Fottrell&Bowring (eds.), Suksi (ed.), and Keating&McGarry (eds.).

However, all required readings from these 3 books are available in the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights' library in the Syllabus collection (please ask the librarians for guidance).

Another compendium with required readings from Fottrell&Bowring (chapter 1 by Bowring and ch. 10 by Packer) and Suksi (chapter VI by Hannikainen, ch. VII by Thornberry, ch. XIV by Eide, ch. XVII by Lewis-Anthony) has been ordered. A third compendium with the 3 required chapters from Keating&McGarry (...

The course compendium is not available yet. However, a handout will be made available to students before the first lecture. It can be picked up in the reception at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (9AM - 1530 PM) 18 August or 22 August before the lecture (or at the lecture).
