Lecture on 'How to write papers in English' - 30 October, from 14:15-16
This lecture is designed to help students who are writing an English language paper for one of their electives. Writing an English language ‘paper’ will, for some students, be an entirely new academic exercise - and this lecture has been specifically designed to help you write a good paper.
Ph.D. fellow Sofie Høgestøl will hold the lecture.
Time: Wednesday 30 October, 14:15-16:00
Venue: Auditorium 4, DA (Domus Academica building).
Sofie Høgestøl will go through the steps needed to write a good paper, including how to:
-Select a good research question
-Find quality English language sources for your research
-How to structure your paper
-How to write clear and concise legal analysis in English.
At the end she will hand out a “How-to-Write a Paper Guide”, written specifically for law students at UiO.
