The midterm exam set of problems is available here.
The deadline for submitting solutions is Wednesday, Oct.28, at 15.00. Place: Room 144 (institute expedition office).
The solution must be labelled with your candidate number (not your name).
The solution should be submitted on paper in an easily legible format (hand-written or made by text editor). The language should be Norwegian or English.
If it is impossible for you to submit the solution on paper at the appointed time and place, please notify the lecturer well in advance of the deadline.

The midterm exam set of problems will be made available on this webpage on Monday, Oct. 12.
The Monday lectures (10.15 - 12) are moved to Lille fysiske auditorium (same room as Tuesday lectures) for the rest of the term.
Change in the teaching plan: No organized teaching in week 43 (Oct. 19 - 23), while teaching will proceed as usual in week 41.
The midterm exam will be given in the middle of October, overlapping with week 43. You will have plenty of time to solve the problems (minimum 2 weeks). More details will follow.
The lab exercises in FYS2160 will be organized during the weeks 47 (Nov. 16 - 20) and 48 (Nov. 23 - 27), in room FV225.
There will be 3 lab groups, each accommodating up to 24 students. The respective times are:
A: Monday, 13.15 - 17.00
B: Thursday, 13.15 - 17.00
C: Friday, 08.15 - 12.00

Fysisk Fagutvalg og Fysikkforeningen arrangerer helgen 19-20 september tur til Studenterhytta i Nordmarka. Turen er både for de som tar elektromagnetisme og dere som tar termodynamikk. Vi har fått med en veldig bra foreleser som tidligere har undervist i emnet selv, så vi anbefaller alle å bli med.
