Problem set 05
The problems that will be discussed on 18 February are 4.8, 4.9, 4.12 and 4.13 in the booklet. They concern the partition function of gases that interact with their environment, and anharmonic oscillators.
These three ensembles will follow us throughout the course, so you should learn to distinguish them sooner rather than later.
