MANDATORY HAMPSON-RUSSEL LAB Week 47 in the Visionary (room U07). Schedule: Mon Nov 16, Tuesday Nov 17 and Wednesday Nov 18 : 8.15am - 12pm. Thursday 19: 8.15am-12 and 2.15pm-6pm. Friday 20: 8.15am - 4pm. You will work in groups of 2-3 persons. If you do not show up you are not qualified for final exam.

This course assumes basic knowledge of seismic acquisition and processing. A new compendium (intro_seismic.doc) has been placed at the forum of the course, for those of you who like to have an introduction to this topic or alternatively refresh old knowledge.

RESERVOIR MONITORING: Mandatory reading is complete module. RESERVOIR SIMULATOR: Mandatory reading is complete module except sublevel 3.5 . FLOW IN POROUS MEDIA: Mandatory reading is Chapter 1 and Sections 2.1 and 2.2. SEISMIC ATTRIBUTES: Mandatory reading is complete module.

All students must register for the course in order to have access to learning material and E-learningsystem GeoCLASS. Go to webpage www.learninggeo.com and sign up as a new user. After registration has been finished find the Group License program under Information button. Run this program and give license code for this course. The license code is given to you at the first lecture. Course material is placed in a GEO4260 course folder (access via the Forum button).
