Welcome

Great that you want to learn  about how to design & make parallel programs run not only effectively but also efficiently multicore machines :-)

This course is for those that believe in Learning by Doing - you will be doing a lot of programming - and get to see your programs in action actually performing :-)

The first lecture is Thursday, January 14th, 2021 12:15 - 14:00 - it will be in English.

Due to Corona-restrictions, it will be via Zoom (details will be sent out later).

The lectures will be recorded and the recordings will be published on the course web site.

Your main entry point for information about the course is the course website - keep an eye on it - especially the Messages :-)

Note that it will be the English version only - the Norwegian version will not be updated - most, if not all, info will be in English as will the lectures. I speak Danish and American English: my Norwegian really does sound like Danish :-(

More info will pop up on the course pages for Spring 2021 soon - if you really cannot wait then peek at the pages for Spring 2020 - the course will be substantially similar :-)
