The schedule for the oral exam was slightly changed (slots moved by a few minutes). Please check the update.

On the "Examination" page the final exam is shown as "Home Exam". This is incorrect. Like announced by us before, the final exam will be an oral exam conducted on May 28th. Check the info page for more information including the time schedule:

The examination/grading this semester will be done in the following way:

• home exam (which you have already submitted)
  • graded "pass"/"fail"
  • results announced before Easter
• oral exam
  • on May 28th
  • performed remotely via Zoom
  • performed in groups (the same groups like for the home exam)
  • 10 / 15 min per group (depending on group size)
  • detailed schedule will be published; reserve the whole day for now
  • questions on the respective home exam + general questions
  • graded "pass"/"fail"
• total result
  • "pass" if both exams "pass"; "fail" otherwise
  • results published in StudentWeb

As UiO has selected Zoom for all online meetings/lectures, we also use this for IN5280/IN9280. The link for the online lecture is:

The lectures will also be recorded and uploaded later, in case you can't attend the online lecture.

As all lectures are cancelled in this week, the next (online) lecture will be on Friday 27th.

Update: The online lecture will be conducted using Zoom.

Due to the current situation, the workshops are canceled for now and the lectures are given via video conference (Adobe Connect). Check the course schedule regularly!

For Windows/Mac/Linux you might need to install additional software. For Android and iOS you need to install the Adobe Connect app from the Play/App store.

As indicated in the intro lecture we have made an update to the curriculum: the book "Secure by Design" has been removed from the curriculum and replaced by the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard. Link in curriculum page.

The first lecture in IN5280/IN9280 this spring will take place on Friday January 31st.
