Our group have worked with Schlumberger on the E&P software Petrel. We worked on developing a tool for customizing Petrels interface for the individual user, based on their personal workflows.

To achieve this we focused on personal profiles that could be adapted to the workflows of each individual, and accessed from different machines. The tools for customization are already possible, but not made available to users.
