Duration: about 1 hour

Style: 2-4 questions regarding the topics presented during lectures, including examples, statement of theorems and derivation of main results. The questions are not fixed and may vary from exam to exam.

Examples of questions: what is the definition and the role of the value function in dynamic programming? what does it mean that an optimal control input is bang-bang? what does receding horizon control refer to?
