The mandatory assignment has been posted [More]. Deadline is Thursday October 28.

The student representative is Léandre Jean Jules Clemen Hansen (ljhansen[[@]]math.uio.no). Any comments or suggestions regarding the course (e.g., lectures, exercises, book, etc.) can be communicated to him. He will then convey your message to me (or you can talk to me directly, if you prefer).

To accommodate as many students as possible, we need to adjust the lecture/exercise times. Teaching on Mondays and Wednesdays are rescheduled to 08:15-10:00. Except for this Wednesday (room 1119), we will use room 1020.

Regarding the allotted teaching times, the division between lectures and exercises are not fixed to some particular day but may change from week to week. For the next two weeks, I will lecture on material from the book.

Welcome to MAT4301 — Partial Differential Equations, Fall 2021. The teaching language is English. The first lecture is Monday, Aug 23, 10:15-12:00, NHA room 1020. The tentative syllabus can be found here. One mandatory assignment will be handed out two weeks before the deadline (the tentative deadline is Oct 28).

Dersom smittesituasjonen får et omfang som gjør at deler av samfunnet må stenge igjen utover høsten, så kan det bli aktuelt å erstatte skriftlig skoleeksamen med skriftlig hjemmeeksamen eller muntlig eksamen i dette emnet.
