The exam in STK4080/9080 consists …

The exam in STK4080/9080 consists of a project exam and a written exam. The project exam will test the practical skills of the students, while the written exam mainly will concentrate on the more theoretical sides of the course (but some more practical questions may be asked as well).

The project exam will be made available Thursday 15 November, and the deadline for handing in (or e-mailing) the written solution to Ørnulf Borgan (borgan@math.uio.no) is Thusday 29 November. Note that you are not allowed to collaborate with others on the project exam.

The written exam takes place 11 December at 2.30 pm, see here for further information. You should bring an approved pocket calculator at the written exam, but otherwise no aids are permitted. The problems for two earlier written exams are available here (some of these will be given as exercises later in the course).
