A visit to ALERIS

We are invited the 7th of November to come and visit the private hospital ALERIS. (Website in Norwegian: ALERIS NO For English visit: ALERIS ENG

At ALERIS we will be met by Medical director Dr. MD. Ole Tjomsland and Financial Director Pål Stang (MBA and Previously financial director at Aker public hospital). We will first have a round trip at the hospital and after that they will discuss topics with us on our request. I have suggested topics on the differences between private and public hospitals, the acceptance of economically constraints and the need for profit at private hospitals, the ability for change in private hospitals compared to public.

However they want us to be further explicit and precise on the topics. I invite each group (Blue, Yellow, Red and Green) to prepare a list of precise questions that you would like the management at ALERIS to discuss with us. Each group should hand in their suggestion by the 12th of October. (If you do not hand in a suggestion you should be prepared to answer why the group is not able to solve this assignment).

YOU SHOULD VISIT THE FOLDER "GROUP ACTIVITIES" IN CLASSFRONTER. ONLY MEMBERS OF YOUR GROUP HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR SPECIFIC GROUP FOLDER.

Also, please let me know by the end of next week (week 40) if you are not able to join us for this excursion.
