Application for Autumn semester 2021
Here you will find the application procedures for SGO2040 - CityStudio Oslo, autumn 2021.
You must submit an application here to be considered for SGO2040 - CityStudio Oslo.
Seats will be awarded on a rolling basis until seats are filled. Alternatively, students may be offered a waitlist placement.
The application includes:
- Motivational letter (one page or less)
- CV
- Electronic transcripts from higher education. Please use Vitnemålsportalen, and make sure the link is valid for two months.
- If you have transcripts from a university that does not use Vitnemålsportalen, you can submit transcripts in the PDF bundle.
Applications open May 1st.
Qualified applicants will be offered an interview within three weeks from applying*.
All interviews will be conducted online using the Zoom application. Each candidate will be interviewed by the project manager and a professor associated with the course. The interviews will last approximately 20 minutes.
Who can apply?
Students studying in the Oslo region who are registered as active students at UiO, NMBU or OsloMet and who can enter the fall semester with a minimum of 120 ECTS in their respective discipline. Students from UiO and NMBU will be awarded credits to their home university. Students from OsloMet will be granted transfer credits from UiO.
The class size may be further restricted to accommodate corona regulations.
*Please note we will not conduct interviews in July. Applications seeking a placement before summer holidays should apply before June 23rd at midnight.
