About Seminar 26 April

We continue the experiment of reading papers that have played a role in the history of economics and presenting to the seminar some of the main ideas. The Seminar plan has been updated.

The two topics for the 26 April seminar is Milton Friedman’s methodological instrumentalism (1953) and Wassily Leontief’s criticism of the profession in his AEA Presidential Address (1971). Both topics  are concerned with critique of current practices in economics but of somewhat different character. The papers are posted as Friedman 1953 and Leontief 1971. In addition a comment of Friedman 1953 is posted as Rotwein 1959.
