Students who were registered for seminar group 4 on Mondays (which has been cancelled) are asked to register for one of the other three groups. Please contact the student advisors (Ingunn Skjerve or Kaya Sverre) to make sure you are correctly registred in Fronter.

We apologize for a slight technical problem in the use of Fronter: For the time being there are six separate student groups in Fronter. Each of the three seminar groups is divided into two subgroups according to the course code of the participants, ECON3215 and ECON4215. Until we find a better solution, we will copy files between the course code subgroups.

The lecture today is given by DL at the regular time and place. Some notes will appear on the course's web page approx. 2 1/2 hours before the lecture. It may be a good idea to bring copies of these to the lecture. Two files with comments on the first week's seminar exercises have been uploaded to Fronter.

In the seminar teaching in this course, Fronter will be used to collect and distribute the participants’ proposed solutions. Handwritten solutions are not accepted. The Faculty of Social Sciences recommends Microsoft Word for preparing solutions electronically, but other solutions are also accepted, if they are at least equally good. For students without experience in drawing figures and writing formulas in Word, an extra lecture is arranged where this will be demonstrated. At the end of the lecture, about 15:15 - 15:45, Fronter will be presented, for those not acquainted with it. The lecture will be held by Diderik Lund on Friday, September 3, 14:15 - 15:45 in Aud 1, ES.
