Seminar in MFA: 34 students are coming; please meet me approx. 10 minutes before 14:00 outside the main gate, do think about questions/issues re. Norwegian security policy - we intend this to be a lively seminar!
Seminar in the Norwegian Parliament, in the Foreign Policy Committee; will be on the NEXT DAY (due to their many travels this Spring), that is, on 12th March, Friday, at 14:30. The theme here is how security policy is made and which controls Parliament has in this process. Security policy used to be the prerogative of the King (ie. the government). The secretary of the committee will speak about how they work, which dilemmas they face in modern out of are missions, etc. Please prepare some questions, etc. This is a unique 'inside' opportunity to learn about processes we know little about.
