A first draft of the exam paper (500-700 words) along with an oral presentation of the draft is required. The students are also required to provide feedback to an assigned student paper and presentation.
Detailed information
As an obligatory assignment during the course, you will submit a first draft of the term paper (the final draft will be submitted as your final exam) and present it orally. The term paper will focus on a basic skill of your choice (listening, speaking, reading, writing, or digital skills) and in the oral presentation you will discuss the relevance of your chosen basic skill for teaching English in lower and/or upper secondary school in Norway. You will also present and discuss theory and prior research from the EDID4002 syllabus related to your chosen basic skill. Students will provide feedback on each other’s paper drafts and oral presentations.
