I've just now uploaded lectures 6 (from two weeks ago) and 7 (for tomorrow, thinking I'm not going to change it further). Sorry I've been behind. Presently working on the next two.

I've uploaded the new versions of lectures 3, 4, and 5 (today's lecture) to the page at http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/matnat/fys/FYS-GEO4500/h11/undervisningsmateriale/. I have tried to edit the main page so that this link shows up, but have been unable to, so just type in the full link and bookmark it.

Previous versions of subsequent lectures are still there, with the old numbering. I'll try to replace them with new versions every week from now on.

I've uploaded the pdfs of the lectures given this fall to date (up to and including 22.09) and the pdfs of old lectures I've given in the past. As we go through the semester, I will replace the old ones with new ones.

Apparently I'm not allowed to edit the page that says Time and Place, so I'll give that information here. We will be meeting Thursday mornings, 10.15 - 12.00 in the seminar room in the PGP area on the 4th floor of the west wing of the Physics Building, room V414. Class will meet in that room every Thursday for the rest of the term except for two: there will be no lecture on 10 Nov or on 8 Dec.
