Here are the results from the mid-term exam:

This counts for 50% of the grade, so we won't assign grades until we have the results from the final exam. Contact me if you have any questions.

Next Tuesday (29/3), we'll meet at the regular time and I'll go over the problem set. Make sure that you pass it in before then (you can give it to me that morning, if necessary). I can answer any other questions you have then as well. Exam is on Thursday (31/3).

In case you missed the class, there's a new problem set on the website. Try to have it in by the end of next week.

I haven't gotten an answer yet about the room, but let's meet tomorrow anyway. I'll be outside the study administration office on the second floor at 12:15 or so. If they haven't found a room, we can have the class in their office until they do find one...

The lecture 11.3 will be in Auditorium 3 (it doesn't show up on the schedule for some reason).

I've put a new copy of the notes in. I've simplified the derivation of Kelvin's theorem a bit (hopefully easier to understand).

Just a reminder that there is no class next Tuesday or Thursday (I'll be out of town). If you can't get the homework to me this week, you could scan it and send it as a .pdf file to my email address (j.h.lacasce@geo.uio.no).

Class tomorrow (25 Jan) in Auditorium I, from 10-12. We'll be meeting there from now on (both on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

No class on Thursday (20 Jan.). I'll be in Tromso. Next class will be on Tuesday (25 Jan.). Stay tuned because we're not sure yet which room we'll be in...

I've requested that we move the time for the Monday lectures. I haven't heard back yet when they will be. But let's meet at 9:15 on Monday from a 1 hour lecture anyway.
